Some of you are still introducing yourselves by what broke you.
Not out loud, but in your mind.
You say things like:
I have trust issues I have anxiety I always get hurt Nothing ever works out for me I come from a broken family I always struggle I’m used to chaos
And without realizing it, you are building your identity around your wounds instead of your healing.
But God cannot fully use your story for redemption if you keep identifying with the chapter where you were broken.
You are not the chapter.
You are the whole book.
And God is still writing.
You Cannot Heal While Worshipping Your Wound
Some people don’t realize they have made their pain their personality.
They don’t know who they are without the struggle.
They don’t know who they are without survival mode.
They don’t know who they are without being the one who was hurt, left, rejected, overlooked, or abandoned.
But healing begins when you say:
“That happened to me, but that is not who I am.”
You are not:
The divorce The addiction The abandonment The poverty The mistakes The trauma The seasons you barely survived
Those were events, not identities.
Redemption Requires Identity Change
God uses people who are willing to let go of who they were.
Redemption is not just God fixing your life.
Redemption is God changing your identity.
You cannot walk into a new season while introducing yourself as your old self.
You cannot become confident while identifying as broken.
You cannot become peaceful while identifying as chaotic.
You cannot become loved while identifying as abandoned.
You cannot become successful while identifying as someone who always struggles.
At some point, you have to stop telling your old story and start walking in your new one.
Your Story Isn’t Meant to Shame You — It’s Meant to Save Someone Else
Everything you went through taught you something:
How to survive How to rebuild How to be strong How to be independent How to have faith when nothing made sense How to start over How to heal How to keep going when you wanted to quit
That is not just pain.
That is training.
One day your story will:
Help another single mom Help another woman leave a bad relationship Help someone start a business Help someone go back to school Help someone heal Help someone find God Help someone not give up
But it can’t help anyone if you’re still living like a victim in a story where you actually survived.
You Didn’t Go Through All That Just To Stay Broken
Read that again.
You didn’t survive all of that:
Just to stay insecure Just to stay broke Just to stay scared Just to stay quiet Just to stay stuck Just to keep repeating the same cycles
You survived because your story has purpose.
And sometimes the final step of healing is this:
Stop identifying with what broke you and start identifying with who you became because you survived it.
Survival Reminder:
You are not who you were when you were:
abandoned addicted broke heartbroken lost insecure in survival mode
You are who you are now:
rebuilding healing growing learning starting over breaking cycles building a future walking with God
And that is the person God will use for redemption.
Not the broken version of you.
The healed version.
If you’re reading this and realizing that your story didn’t break you — it built you — then maybe this is your season to build something too.
So many of us spent years in survival mode just trying to make it through the day, the bills, the heartbreak, the healing, the setbacks, and the starting over. But there comes a point where survival turns into rebuilding, and rebuilding turns into creating.
That’s exactly why I created the Chaos Creates Change Business Bundle Blueprint — for the women who had to learn everything the hard way, for the moms who are tired of struggling, and for the ones who are ready to turn their story, their knowledge, their skills, and their survival into income.
You didn’t go through all of that just to survive.
You went through all of that to build something that changes your life.
If you’re ready to stop just surviving and start creating, building, and turning your chaos into cash, this blueprint will walk you step-by-step through how to start.
Your story isn’t over.
This might actually be the chapter where everything changes.
