
If there isn’t anything that I do more than anything is overthink to the point I drive my own self crazy at times. It is not good for us at all to overthink. Our minds get cloudy trying to figure it all out. It can be from one stress to trying to figure out where you are going to be in the next year or to something as simple as something someone said to you today. This means you spend to much time thinking and worrying about all the negative. Allowing fear to overcome your thought process. Then stress starts to take over more and more.

Here are 8 ways that will help set you free from OVERTHINKING:
- The first step is being aware of overthinking, learning to be aware as soon as your mind starts to try and figure it all out and think of any which way or scenarios of an even taking place in your life. Once you find yourself doing this stop in that very moment and remind yourself of how you are going to react to the situation.
- The moment when you think on how you are going to react remind yourself to think on what can go right and don’t think about the negative. The root of overthinking is caused by fear and when we are always driven by fear instead of driven by faith then we will always fall into the trap of overthinking everything that happens in our lives. Therefore, trust and believe that no matter the outcome know that there will be something good that will come out of the situation. More importantly have more faith.
- Focus on being happy and think of the outcome in a positive way that is going to be of good health. When you start to overthink, take a deep breath, exercise, paint, color, or anything that will get your mind to meditate on the good instead of the bad.
- Stop trying to reach a goal of perfection. This is HUGE! We can set goals and be ambitious but perfection = growth. Being perfect is unrealistic! Focus on jus making progress taking on day at a time. The only answer your are going to find in any circumstance is though time and being patient with yourself.
- Just because you may have failed so many times in the past. Remind yourself that the past is history ; ) Just because things did not work out before don’t mean that things are not going to work out in this new season of your life. Every new season in your life is a new beginning and a place to try again.
- We are never going to be able to predict the future. So live in today and focus on one day at a time. As long as we continue to be led by fear we will never take chances in life. When we don’t take chances then we wont experiences growth and we will continue to live in a comfort zone because we are driven by fear instead of faith. Fear hinders us more than we realize.
- Remind yourself that you are good enough and don’t fear of others opinions or what others think based on the life that you are living. Give everything the best you got and be ok with it even with things that are not under your control.
- Don’t continue to live in guilt or regret. Have an attitude of gratitude. Make a list of all the good things that you have to be thankful for.
Today is the day that you are going to turn all your overthinking, negative, anxiety, and stress into positive outcomes in your life today! Its taking one old habit replacing it with a new habit and every day this day forward you will continue to have a renewed mind.
