PAST EMOTIONS COMING UP

The effect of thinking you are healed from past traumas.

There are many times that we carry past hurts and we don’t even realize it. We tend to take those hurts and we sweep it under a rug. Trying to cover it up with anything we can and it can be anything religion, drugs, alcohol, jumping from one relationship to another.  Till then we are in a situation with someone else that had nothing to do with what hurt you before and take it out on that person. It may not come out in any way that you even expect it to. It comes out in ways that are directed to them but the emotion that has come out of you is actually deeper from a previous emotion that stirred it up. From the past that hurt from a totally different situation with someone else. It is so important to find the PEACE within yourself along with the HEALING. Even if it means that someone today brings that familiar emotion up but instead you still trying not to allow that emotion to come up you pridefully take it out on that person today. We have to allow our hearts to change and when we recognize that emotion we must deal with it. How you deal with it is up to you. Find the strength to deal with it on your own and cry out loud if you have to. Scream and yell and really seek where that emotion came from, that is stirring up so that you don’t ruin your relationships with others that are in your future. At times we don’t realize how much our past really affects our future and act as if there is nothing you don’t need to let go of.  Our pride won’t allow us to break from past hurts because for so many years that is what we tried to protect ourselves from. No one likes to be hurt by others but there are times that the wrong people who didn’t know how to love hurt us. Then when there are good people in our lives that know how to love we ruin it because of PAST HURTS COMING UP. Trust me the last thing I want to do is deal with any past hurts that I have swept under the rug for so long. There will be times that it has been so long that you forgot about it until a situation comes up but the same emotion comes up and BOOM it hits. All I can say is get the healing you need from it. It’s that feeling when fear creeps in and all of a sudden you turn red and your chest starts hurting because of anxiety. There are so many things that we can’t control in life but one thing we can do is control our emotions. God gave us emotions to control, not for our emotions to control us. The last thing you want to do is end up with no-one on your side because the ones that love you today can’t because you won’t allow them to because every emotion has control over your life from past hurts. Get the healing you need and take control over you thoughts and your emotions.
